Combining Soccer and IT Infrastructure into a Career

Raúl Rodriguez explains how he progressed through his career after his NetAcad studies to his current job in the IT Department at FC Barcelona as an IT Infrastructure Manager and Architect.

He attended the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and earned an Industrial-Structural Engineering degree. While studying at the Universitat Ramon Llull to get a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, he also worked on obtaining his CNAP.

Raúl advises NetAcad students to not rush to get to the good jobs. He believes that it is better to start from the beginning in the low tier and move upwards, as the skills you learn will carry you forward to get a good job.
