What are the essentials in terms of:
Strong skills background is a must for various functions. This does not mean that certifications are a must; but the attitude to learn and achieve certifications is essential.
We also look for the right personalities. Our employees must feel comfortable working in an international company with a multicultural approach. They should also show willingness to "walk the extra mile" for our clients. Furthermore they must be able to speak English - an additional language is an advantage.

What role do "interests" and "references" play in your choice?
References are important to us. From references we can learn more about background and what the candidate has done in the past. We like to discuss references in depth at interview to learn more.
Interests are also important. After all, a job is important, but it´s not everything in life. We have to look for a balance between work and play to achieve best results within a job. If somebody has strong interests like team sports you can assume that he is a team player, he is taking care of his health - and this is a strong plus.
