We are Recruiting!
Having ‘insider’ knowledge of where the job market is going and what sort of jobs are available now and in the future is the kind of information that might just give you the advantage when it comes to finding your dream job.Wouldn’t it be helpful to hear from employers themselves about the types of jobs they will be offering and just what it is they look for in their next recruit?
We have interviewed potential employers to find out who they’re hiring and why.
My role
I am the Regional HR Specialist and business partner in terms of all HR-related issues for Panduit in the UK, Ireland and Nordics.
Who we hire?
We are looking for the best candidates - it is as simple as that.
We call our recruitment process Topgrading
By Topgrading we aim to hire, develop motivate and retain top quality employees. We recognise that our employees are our most important and valuable resource. So when we recruit someone, we not only give them a job, but a chance to develop their career within Panduit.
Right now we are looking for highly skilled business development professionals for our sales team. Successful candidates will be able to sell our products as part of a complete service. We would want our sales employees to build long term relationships with our customers.
If you have RCDD and/or CCNA we particularly want to hear from you.
You can find out about more opportunities by connecting with PANDUIT on www.panduit.com/emea/vacancies.
The essentials and CV
We are an organisation looking for:
- Strong individuals
- Ambition - people with real goals for themselves
- Professional attitude
- Ready to learn and to accept challenges
We encourage applicants with work experience to demonstrate two things: personal development within their career and achievements within the business; for example projects they have started or won, or new partner relationships they have created for their company.
Successful candidates should be able to talk about what they have learned and how they have evolved professionally, ass well as their greatest successes in a previous job or internship.
A CV should be clear and to the point - this really is a 'door opener' for the next professional move.
Important accomplishments, education and training should all be easy to review within no more than 3 pages of a CV.
If you have changed jobs, you should also explain why in your CV.
Last person we hired
The last person we hired was an Account Manager for our Network Connectivity Group for Sweden.
The person we hired clearly understood our sales strategies and showed this through questions and answers. This person also had experience working with end users, system integrators and distribution - and understood how to get the most out of these relationships to sell to customers.
The successful candidate showed an entrepreneurial business attitude which we require and the drive to produce results
