Are You Linked into our Group?

Did you know that Cisco Networking Academy has its own Linkedin page for Networking Academy students? Did you know that there are currently 4.600+ members of this group?Did you know that IT recruiters use to page to find job candidates? 

And did you know that you can access the Linkedin job search tool to find thousands of job offers all over the world at any time?

This is a great additional resource for our students looking to connect with other students around the world and for members who are looking for jobs. 

Watch Hilal at Cisco, our social media guru, talk about the benefits of joining the group, such as: 

1.      Targetted Content

Jobs, internships and Cisco programs are regularly highlighted by the group’s managers. Networking materials and technical content is also shared. 

2.      Discussions and networking

Comments and updates from members and group managers are shared on the group – interesting content is posted dynamically. You can reply to posts, ask questions and follow members whose discussions you find interesting. Of course,  you can also post information and discussions yourself.

 3.      Job Search functionality

A lot of positive praise has been given to the Linkedin job search.  Jobs are posted inside the group by automatic feed, and you also have immediate access to the Job Search tool, which you can customize to location, job title, level, and additional parameters such as key words. There are thousands of job offers updated daily.

 4.      Recruiters

HR specialists and IT companies regularly post their offers directly onto the group discussion page. Respond to recruiters and follow them so that you keep up to date with job offers that interest you.

Sounds good? So how do you join? 

Simply create your profile on Linkedin. Go to the Search tab and look for Cisco Networking Academy. Join the group – no need to request permission.
